FHI HEAT: Do More: Awareness styling iron
NEW PINK-COLORED DO MORE: AWARENESS CHARITABLE-CONCEPT STYLING IRON GIVES BACK TO ONLINE RESOURCE FOR BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS
FHI Heat announces that it has renewed its charitable partnership with Pink-Link, a grassroots, non-profit organization which provides online support to survivors of breast cancer and others affected by the disease. FHI Heat will donate to Pink-Link a portion of proceeds from the sale of its new Do More: Awareness styling iron, the third in its Do More series of charitable concept styling irons that demonstrates its corporate commitment to “do more” for environmental, social and health-related causes. There are three different color-coded styling irons in the Do More series, each color benefiting a unique charitable cause.
When I received my Do More: Awareness styling iron I was really excited! I love using my iron to jsut smooth out my hair, and it helps give i a little shine. I love that it doesn’t make my hair frizzy, nor does it burn my hair.

“The continued partnership between Pink-Link and FHI Heat means so much to me and our organization, states Vicki Tashman, Founder of Pink-Link. “We operate at zero overhead, and no one draws a salary, so every dollar donated by FHI Heat will be applied to the expansion of the site, as well as continuing our outreach efforts to the breast cancer community.” Unlike research organizations, the mission of Pink-Link is to create a virtual forum to provide support for women already diagnosed with breast cancer. The non-sectarian site hosts the only online searchable database of breast cancer survivors. A member can search and connect with other members with privacy and confidentiality through the Pink-Link email system. The site also provides professional support in the areas of nutrition, fitness, holistic health care and skin care through its “Ask the Expert” forum. Pink-Link has over 3,300 members in all 50 states and internationally.
The Do More: Awareness styling iron features beautiful pink, 1-inch plates with accompanying packaging, as well as FHI Heat’s signature high-heat (410 degrees) with fixed temperature control, combined with proprietary Nano-Fuzeion™ technology, a unique combination of Nano-Titanium, Nano-Titanium Dioxide and Nano-Silver particles. Together the triple function of the Nano-Fuzeion technology removes bacteria, toxins and static, producing superior conditioning and shine, while providing unmatched health and purification benefits for the hair. Other features include: 3 layers of ceramic coating on the plates and a PTC heater – larger than any other PTC heater on the market – which allows it to heat up quickly and instantly recover heat upon contact with hair; and the largest quantity of crushed tourmaline crystals which results in the highest negative ion count. The Do More: Awareness styling iron retails for $120.00. FHI Heat will donate $1.00 from each sale of each styling iron to Pink-Link, and highlights the mission of Pink-Link on the product packaging.

Hot Mama Designs *Giveaway @ MommyMandy*

As a mom I love wearing jewelry that shows off my girls. I love having that constant reminder of love on my neck or wrist. When Shannon, the owner of Hot Mama Designs asked me if I’d like to check out a piece of jewelry I was very excited. I was even more excited when a bracelet with my girls names on it showed up tucked in a black velvet bag.
When you order your jewelry you get to customize everything, the size of disc. The name that goes on the disc. If you want a birthstone. Tons of different options to choose from.
Oh, and I absolutely love the teeny tiny tag on the end of the bracelet that says “HOT MAMA”. So cute! I am in love with the bracelet.

I know it can be hard to shop for women. In general women are the hardest people to shop for. Why not give them a personalized bracelet, or necklace? Any mother, or grandmother would love personalized jewelry with their babies on it.

DownEast Basics Holiday *Giveaway @ MommyMandy*
Right before Thanksgiving I received a package from DownEast Basics and I was excited! Cute new clothes for the Holiday!
Last month I featured cute Fall Clothes and I get so many compliments whenever I wear the top and skirt.
I picked the One of a Kind Top. First off I didn’t realize it was as long as it is, so it’s perfect for maternity, new moms well, for any woman.
Long sleeve v-neck top with delicate smocking detail below neckline and waist. My cousin Nat who is pregnant with her 2nd baby wanted to top so bad. I told her that lucky for her it’s only $24 dollars.
Here is Sam and I. I am wearing the One of a Kind Top. I love how soft it is and it is by far one of the most comfortable shirts ever. ‘d wear it every day with sweat pants if I could.

I also picked the adorable Timeless Trench Coat. Semi wrap style trench coat that features generous fold over collar with ruffle detail and belt. Hits below the knee.
I love this coat, you can wear it with dresses, pants even jeans. I did notice that although it is considered a coat, it is not super thick so if it’s freezing outside I’d wear a thicker coat. But if it’s nice outside and you need something cover up your arms then this is a perfect coat to wear.
What I love the most about DownEast Basics is their price! You can’t find quality clothes that are cute at these prices.
